La escuela de ingeniería de la Corporación Unificada Nacional de Educación Superior (CUN) anunció la segunda convocatoria del año para INgenio, un concurso de robótica estudiantil mediante el cual busca fortalecer habilidades para solucionar retos de ingeniería, que incluyen desde la creación de software hasta la construcción de plataformas robóticas que atienden necesidades en diferentes entornos.
“INgenio nace en 2016 como un concurso alternativo para incentivar a los estudiantes de colegio y universidad a la creación de sistemas robóticos en un ambiente lúdico, pedagógico y competitivo; generando así, el desarrollo de habilidades de diseño y creatividad en áreas relacionadas con la tecnología. Hasta el momento han participado más de mil estudiantes de universidades nacionales e internacionales y niños y jóvenes de colegios públicos y privados en todas sus versiones”, señala Ingrid Lorena Torres Blanco, líder de gestión en Ingeniería Electrónica de la CUN.
Para esta nueva versión del 2022, son dos categorías a las que jóvenes y niños podrán inscribirse sin ningún costo, Ingenio University e Ingenio School. Para la primera, podrán concursar estudiantes de diferentes instituciones de educación superior a nivel nacional, en la cual se busca promover el trabajo en equipo y permitir a los estudiantes practicar y mostrar sus habilidades en el uso de diversas tecnologías.
Por su parte, con Ingenio School, los estudiantes de colegio, según el curso al que pertenezcan, tienen la oportunidad de inscribirse en la subcategoría Mini para niños de primaria de colegios de Bogotá y Cundinamarca; y Junior, para jóvenes de bachillerato de colegios nacionales e internacionales de Bogotá y Envigado a quienes el programa de Ingeniería Electrónica asesorará en sus diseños.
Las inscripciones ya están abiertas y los cupos son limitados hasta agotar las plazas dispuestas para el concurso que iniciará con Junior en Envigado el próximo 5 de octubre. Las demás se llevarán a cabo en noviembre; los inscritos en la categoría University se presentarán en el Auditorio mayor de la CUN el 3 y 4 de dicho mes, quienes se hayan registrado en la categoría School Bogotá tendrán que asistir el 3 de noviembre si pertenecer a la subcategoría Junior o el 5 de noviembre se clasifican en Mini por el grado académico que cursan.
